Job Posting – Mentor, Primary Teachers and English Teacher

The Dimitar Ekimov Private Primary School announced openings for the following
full‑time positions:
• Primary teacher
• English teacher
• Mentor‑educator – a team member who takes overall care of the children after the
school day.
Requirements for teachers
Applicants must have a higher education degree and a speciality and qualification in
accordance with Appendix 1 to Article 10 of Ordinance No 15 (22 July 2019) on the status
and professional development of teachers, school leaders and other pedagogical specialists
issued by the Ministry of Education.
Requirements for mentors
The ideal candidate should possess empathy and work with children through love, leading
by personal example. The school seeks someone curious enough to get to know each child
and understand the difficulties and individual needs they face as they grow from preschool
to the upper secondary stage. Mentors may come from other professions but must be
people filled with love and a desire to care for children. They act as a “family” for the pupils,
build trust and emotional intelligence and, ideally, bring skills and knowledge from various
fields.
Special requirements

dedicated person is motivated to develop professionally and offer support for such
development with an individual approach. They value the search for non‑standard
professional solutions tailored to the specific situation and to each child’s personality.
